| What is Spacia? | Spacia is a self-contained, (orthopaedic) sleeping solution that installs into a 350mm (13.75in) section cavity allowing a permanent use bed to be deployed in seconds at the touch of a button. Designed initially to meet the needs of the emerging 'micro flat' building sector, Spacia is a unique design, which sits entirely under the floor when not in use allowing interior designers to create true multi function spaces without compromise. Of course Spacia panders to everyone providing for all the issues required of a high quality bed along with a unique benefit, with the bed staying flat during operation and generous space provided for bedding and pillows, it does not have to be dressed and undressed each day before and after use. |

It can even effectively add a bedroom to any property by converting an office or playroom when times demand it. Spacia has one last trick up its sleeve; when opened the headboard can hide away paraphernalia of life or your working day leaving a tranquil, uncluttered sleeping space.

Spacia is a self contained sleeping solution that installs into a floor-cavity or is laid on the original floor with the surrounding area built up to suit the installation space. Spacia is shipped fully assembled and ready to install. The load-bearing frame is fixed within the aperture first to allow for easy access before the main deck and bed sections follow to complete the assembly. Spacia can then remain closed and secure until the build is complete. Should the unit need to be disassembled to ease installation, instruction sheets will be submitted upon request. In day-to-day living Spacia allows a permanent use bed to be deployed in seconds using high strength electric (both 110v and 220v ac) actuators operated by a remote control unit. Once opened, the actuators ‘lock-out' with a crush resistance of some 14,000kg (30,865lbs).
